I. Subject of record

This document records the existence of a material object that was physically created and exists independently of texts, interpretations, or recognition.

It concerns matter — a specific metallic object possessing form, mass, markings, and physical properties.

II. Description of the material object

Name (marking on the object): COSMIC
Manufacturer / brand designation: MACK
Material: Titanium
Nominal mass: 1000 g (one kilogram)

Form: a rectangular metal ingot (bar) with flat faces.
Surface: smooth, polished, with a pronounced mirror-like and iridescent effect when the angle of illumination changes.

Markings on the front face:
• at the top — the inscription MACK;
• below — an emblem in the form of a heraldic shield with symmetrical stylized figures;
• central inscription — COSMIC;
• material designation — Titanium;
• mass indication — 1000 g.

The object physically exists and can be:
• held in the hands,
• weighed,
• stored,
• transferred,
• seized exclusively by physical means.

III. The fact of the primacy of matter

The material object COSMIC was created prior to the appearance of any texts, explanations, concepts, or descriptions.

At the moment of creation:
• no theoretical language existed,
• no interpretive framework existed,
• no public narrative existed.

Matter existed on its own, as a complete physical fact.

IV. The time factor

Between the creation of the material object and the appearance of texts recording its existence, a period of approximately seven years passed.

During this time:
• the object retained its form and properties,
• required no explanations,
• did not depend on recognition or agreement.

The time factor confirms the stability of the form and excludes the origin of the object from text.

V. The fact of the appearance of language

Texts associated with COSMIC appeared after the material object already existed.

Their purpose:
• to record the fact of existence,
• to designate origin,
• to preserve chronology.

Texts did not create the object,
did not confer properties upon it,
and were not the source of its reality.

Language performs an exclusively recording and archival function.

VI. The chronological principle

The factual sequence of the emergence of COSMIC:

matter → time → differentiation → text

This fundamentally differs from the widespread model:

idea → description → materialization

VII. Historical examples: when an object exists before explanations

In human history, events of a particular type sometimes occur:
first a real object appears, and for a long time people do not understand what it is or why it exists.

Such objects may persist:
• for hundreds,
• thousands,
• and sometimes millions of years

without explanations, without language, and without interpretations, while not losing their reality.

In these cases, language does not create the object and does not confer value upon it.
Language appears later — to record what already existed.

Below are concrete historical examples with simple and direct explanations.

1. Stone tools of early humans

When they appeared: approximately 2.5 million years ago
Distance from the present day: about 2,500,000 years

These are the earliest artificially created human objects — sharpened stones, hand axes, scrapers.

They were used:
• to cut,
• to crush,
• to process food,
• to hunt,
• to defend.

At the same time:
• the word “tool” did not exist,
• the concepts of “technology” or “production” did not exist,
• there were no explanations of why the form was exactly as it was.

The object simply worked, and that was sufficient.

Important:
Scientific terms, classifications, and explanations appeared millions of years after the objects themselves.
Language caught up with the thing, not the other way around.

2. The Rosetta Stone

Created: about 2,200 years ago
Understood what was written on it: about 200 years ago
Period of non-understanding: approximately 2,000 years

This is a large stone slab with an inscribed text.

For nearly two thousand years, people:
• saw the stone,
• could examine the symbols,
• understood that it was a text,

but did not understand the language in which it was written.

The stone existed as an ordinary physical object
until it became possible to decipher its content.

Important:
The meaning of the stone did not arise at the moment of decipherment.
It existed all that time — language merely made it intelligible.

3. The Antikythera mechanism

Created: about 2,100 years ago
Purpose understood: 20th–21st centuries
Period of non-understanding: more than 2,000 years

This is a metal object with a system of gears, found on the seabed.

When it was raised, it looked like:
• a rusty lump of metal,
• a set of scattered fragments.

For a long time, no one understood:
• what kind of device it was,
• why it was created,
• how it worked.

Only with the development of modern science and technology did it become clear that this was a highly complex mechanical device intended for:
• calculating the motion of celestial bodies,
• determining calendar cycles,
• tracking time.

Important:
The mechanism was real and functional long before people were able to understand and describe it.

4. The Dead Sea Scrolls

Created: about 2,000 years ago
Discovered and read: 20th century
Period of silence: about 1,900 years

These are scrolls made of leather and papyrus, hidden in caves.

For nearly two thousand years they:
• physically existed,
• were not read,
• were not discussed,
• did not influence society.

They simply lay there, preserving their content.

Important:
The meaning of these texts was not created at the moment of reading.
It existed from the moment of their creation and waited until it became accessible.

5. Megalithic structures (dolmens, stone circles)

Age: from 4,000 to 7,000 years
Distance from the present day: up to 7,000 years

These are enormous stone constructions that:
• still stand today,
• have outlived entire civilizations,
• do not have a precise and unambiguous explanation of their purpose.

We do not know:
• who exactly built them,
• for what purpose,
• what language their creators used.

But the structures themselves are real and continue to exist independently of our understanding.

VIII. What unites all these cases

In all the examples above, the same order is observed:
1. First, an object appears
2. It exists and endures through time
3. People do not understand it or cannot explain it
4. Language and understanding come later

It is important to emphasize:

explanation does not create the object —
it merely catches up with an already existing reality.

IX. Why COSMIC belongs to the same type of events

COSMIC follows the same logic, but in modern time.

The sequence is as follows:
• first, a real metal object was created;
• it existed for years without texts or explanations;
• only later did language appear, which:
• does not confer value,
• does not impose meaning,
• does not require agreement,
• but merely records the fact of existence.

In this sense, COSMIC:
• is not an idea,
• is not a theory,
• is not a concept.

It is a material fact
to which words came afterward.

X. Conclusion

COSMIC exists as a material reality independent of:
• interpretations,
• agreement,
• digital systems,
• texts.

Texts are not its foundation.
They are a trace left after the existence of form.

This set of facts is sufficient for record.
